We will offer a build session for those who do not feel that they can build the kits without assistance.

As mentioned in our presentations, there will be a $25 fee for this session.

Date: Sunday May 1 from 12:00 to 17:00

Location: SPARC (VE7SCC) located on the Riverview grounds

See https://sparcradio.ca/about/location-and-hours for directions and map.

We ask that you do as much prep work as you are able to prior to coming so that we can spread out the work.

In particular if you can separate and clean up the edges of the case (construction manual page 4 figure 1 and wind the coil Fig 18 page 15).

For the coil you can use hot glue/model airplane cement, finger nail polish etc. in place of the gorilla glue. Also be aware that the ferrite rods break easily and have a nasty habit of rolling off of tables J

Please let me know if you are coming so we can make suitable preparations email: ve7mid@telus.net, phone: (604) 475-5254.

Thanks to SPARC and VE7SCC for facilitating this.

A reminder that the first hunt is sponsored by NSARC May 7 see ardf.ca for more details
